Why We Built OnlyVisa
If you’re the kind of traveller who likes deciding things for yourself — where you stay, how long you linger somewhere, when you skip the “must-see” spot for something quieter — you probably already know the one thing that gets in the way of all that freedom.
The visa.
We were exactly that kind of traveller. We didn’t want a fixed itinerary or a package holiday just to get help with paperwork. We wanted to plan our own trips and just needed someone to handle the part that actually stresses people out — the documentation, the embassy requirements, all the small details that quietly decide whether an application goes smoothly or not.
So we learned it ourselves. Properly. Not just enough to get by, but enough to actually get good at it — and eventually good enough that we thought, why not do this for other people who feel the same way we did?
That’s really the whole story behind OnlyVisa.

How We Actually Built This
Neither of us comes from a technical background, and honestly, we think that’s part of what makes OnlyVisa work the way it does. We leaned heavily on AI across everything — building the platform, writing the content, even OVAI, our in-house AI assistant that helps answer questions and guide people through their documents.
We’re not going to pretend a machine did the thinking for us. We used every tool we could to move fast and focus our own energy on the part that actually matters — genuinely understanding what a traveller needs and making sure their application reflects that properly.
OnlyVisa is a registered enterprise under India’s Udyam (MSME) registration, based out of Mumbai.

We’re travellers, not salespeople. This didn’t come from spotting a gap in the market. It came from being genuinely annoyed at how complicated visas felt, and wanting to fix that for ourselves first — long before we ever thought about turning it into a business.
We built OnlyVisa the way we’d have wanted it to exist when we were the ones stuck figuring out embassy requirements at midnight. That’s still how we approach every application that comes through — not as a transaction to close, but as the same problem we once had to solve for ourselves, now solved properly for you.
